New All-Black Female Series ‘Finding Happy’ Spotlights Bounce’s Upcoming Originals List

Original series
“Find Happy” is a dramatic comedy following the experience of the black woman through the dissatisfied life of Yaz-Carterstarting with his unfortunate 36and birthday. The 10-episode first season features Yaz’s loving but complicated family, her stagnant career in the changing landscape of radio, and an unrequited ride of love while dating in the love desert of Atlanta. “Finding Happy” Reveals Over Time That True Happiness Can Only Be Found Within.
B. Simone (“Wild ‘n Out” from MTV) stars as Yaz with Kim Cole (“Living Single”), Marketta Patrice (“Black Jesus”), Angela Gibbs (“Hacks”), Stevie Baggs (“Ruthless”) and Mike Merrill (“A la carte”). Kendra Jo is the showrunner/writer and co-creator with Yasmine Colman and Angela Wells. Eric C. RhoneCedric the animator, Yasmine Colman, Angela Wells, Kendra Jo and Reesha L. Archibald are the show’s executive producers.
“Finding Happy” is being developed as a companion show to Bounce’s men’s hit “Johnson”. The Deji LaRay-created comedy-drama returns for season two July 10and Terri J. Vaughn joined the cast alongside LaRay, Thomas Q. JonesDL Hughley, Derrex Brady and Philip A.Smithey.
“Johnson” and “Finding Happy” come from Eric C. Rhone & Cedric The Entertainer, production company A Bird & A Bird Entertainment and the couple are executive producers.

The original cast members, including Jonathan Langdon, Dalmar Abuzeid and Safine Semadjust resume their roles as Pasteur Benjamin (Langon) and its motley crew of devotees. This time, they find themselves locked in the local mall just as a fearsome team of armed robbers attempt to steal a jewel. Scripps National Spelling Bee The nation’s largest and longest-running educational program returns to Scripps Networks, where it will air on ION and Bounce, and other networks. Accomplished actor, director, educator and advocate for lifelong child literacy LeVar Burton will serve as host. The televised semi-finals on June 1 and the finals June 2, 2022 take place at National Harbour, Maryland.
Bounce Trumpet Awards – The gala celebrates the best of African-American excellence and achievement. A beacon to inspire, enlighten and elevate the human spirit to its highest potential, the program recognizes black humanitarians who have succeeded against immense odds and increase the wealth of society by fighting for justice and equality for all. . The show will air during the holidays on June 16, June 19, a date that fits perfectly with what this event stands for and offers a meaningful way to celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary. This year’s winners include Courtney B. Vance, Stan Lathan, Zaila Before-guard, Princess Sarah Culberson and senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.
