Yep...it's been 5 years and I waited as long as I could for a potential Western release, but the latest Twitter hoax on it angered me enough to finally go through all the work needed to play it on our shores. Let's check out the free-to-play MMORPG that will never come to the US, Phantasy Star Online 2!

no need to bother bringing it to Europe of US, the game looks old and something from 2010 or something, it can't even compete with other games

Awesome First Look Magicman. even though belated :)
I'm with you on the old school way, I so miss that exploration too of searching for glues and answers to playing foreign games, that was just a norm years ago, just what we did, played all of them and helped many others to play them! when we understood what we had entered we created great guides on them to do it . This in all, created a great intense community into playing foreign language gaming. :)
This game is brilliant, & a good example of how to use the dreaded map system giving great values and much better uses than most of today's ones which seem to do nothing much.

What would you expect from a company that sells out a blue hedge hog more then a infectious air born virus yeah I couldn't figure out a better way to phrase a analogy for sell out wanta whoop about it. They would of made it in the US but I guess it's their lose.

The game is pretty bland and boring. I had played it during its release and it's not so fun after running through the generated maps and the bland story.

Why won't they bring it to the west? :( I'm sure Sega are just being stubborn for some stupid reason. Japanese game companies can be so weird when it comes to doing business overseas. Well, it's probably too late now anyway...
