In Hollywood, everything it’s exaggerated and well, additional—including weddings!

Go big or go home. That’s how Hollywood works. This way of thinking is reflected in the lavish lifestyles of Hollywood’s elite. So it’s no surprise that this over-the-top mentality is also found in celebrity weddings. (And Hollywood has no shortage of celebrity weddings!)

From destination weddings and six-figure wedding dresses to 10-foot-tall wedding cakes and $75,000 floral arrangements, Tinseltown A-listers are pretty good at spending big bucks on their nuptials. . A bit small(ish) from weddings to over-the-top weddings, spending it all you’ve got, here’s our list of the 5 most ridiculously expensive celebrity weddings of all time. Starting with …

Jennifer Anniston and Brad Pitt’s $1 Million Wedding

Oh the 90s! What a simpler time. Return when Friends and Seinfeld were at their peak and our hearts were all boiling with all that Jennifer Anniston and Brad Pitt. (Be honest, you still support them, don’t you?) These two Hollywood powerhouses married in July 2000 and spent a modest (at least, by Hollywood standards) $1 million on their Malibu wedding. . (That’s $1.6 million when adjusting for inflation.)

The couple spent around $100,000 on security for their big day, with an additional $75,000 spent on floral arrangements alone. Yes, Jennifer and Brad passed $75,000 to flowers. Oh, and to make it even more ridiculously over the top, the celebrity couple ended their marriage on a high note, literallybuying $20,000 worth of fireworks.

The $2 million wedding of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas

Married at the Plaza Hotel in New York in November 2000, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas spent $2 million on the big day.

Between Catherine’s $140,000 Christian Lacroix gown and her $300,000 tiara, they spared no expense. In addition to the lavish costs, wedding guests were required to present their invitations upon arrival, as the invitations contained invisible ink and holograms to deter any possible wedding mishaps. Additionally, Catherine and Michael reportedly hired 50 rental agents as additional security measures.

Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto’s $10 Million Wedding

basketball legend and space jam Star Michael Jordan’s second marriage to model Yvette Prieto cost $10 million.

Married in April 2013 at Bear’s Club in Florida, the couple had celebrity guests and live performances from Usher and Robin Thicke. Yvette wore a J’Aton Couture wedding dress with Swarovski crystals. So you just to know they spent top dollar on the crystals alone, not to mention the custom dress.

The $34 million wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton

Although he is not Hollywood celebrities, Prince William and Kate Middleton are both celebrities in their own right, so we felt compelled to include them in our list of expensive celebrity weddings. And, man. Did the royal couple pull out all the stops for their 2011 wedding! In total, their nuptials cost $34 million.

And listen to this, $32 million went to security. just security. Next, Kate’s stunning Sarah Burton dress for Alexander McQueen cost $434,000! Can you imagine spending this a lot on a dress you’re only gonna wear Once?!

The $48 million wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles

And finally, we have one of the most expensive celebrity weddings, never. Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ wedding cost $48 million in 1984, which after inflation would likely be closer to $135 million today. $135 million. (I can’t even begin to imagine having that much money, let alone spending it on a wedding.)

Around $600,000 was spent on security for the royal wedding, with more than 5,000 police officers tasked with crowd control. Another big expense was, of course, Princess Diana’s infamous wedding dress, which cost around £90,000 (about $449,000 today). Oh, and Diana and Charles had 27 wedding cakes, 2,200 guests, and the ceremony was watched by 750 million people in 74 countries. Talk about a big daytime!
